Excursion to Hideaway Island Marine Reserve’s Underwater Post Office.

Vanuatu Post has created a unique Underwater Post Office that is different from any other in the world. Located in Hideaway Island's marine sanctuary, it can be found in about 3 meters of water. Its close proximity to the beach makes it easy for swimmers and snorkelers to send special "waterproof postcards." Instead of using ink to show that the cards have been sent, the Post Office has a new embossed cancellation device. Vanuatu Post encourages visitors to explore the beauty of the country both above and below the surface by visiting the Underwater Post Office. It's an exciting adventure for you and a unique experience for the recipients of these special postcards.
